Ashley Olsen Doesn't Realize That Creepy Old Man (Karl Lagerfeld) Is Someone To Whom She Should Have Been Nice

Maybe this is just a case of 'streetproofing' working too well.

The story is that Ashley Olsen was backstage at a fashion event when Karl Lagerfeld approached her. Her immediate reaction was to cringe and back away from him. Karl is said to have taken great offence to this. I'm not sure if it was the not being recognized as a famous designer that bothered him or the snap judgement that he was icky.
